Winter 2010
It’s December 1 already! I don’t know how this year flew by so fast. If 2009 was a year of crying out, waiting, and learning to surrender, 2010 was a year of… well, more waiting and submission, but also one of answers, growth, and blessings. What a joyful year.
I’m sure I’ll reflect more as this month comes to a close, but right now I have to rave about my MOTHER, who is visiting the states for 10 sweet days this winter!! Skype does wonders to a long-distance family, but nothing beats those face-to-face mother and daughter talks over a warm cup o’ coffee. =) I’m so excited to see her again, and to spend quality time with her that isn’t constantly interrupted by bad internet connection!!
Other people I get to reunite with/meet this winter: 1) the Lee family, all 5 of them!! My sister and I practically spent half our time in Mongolia sleeping over at their house. What a reunion it’ll be! 2) Elim! A dear friend from Germany. 3) Future father-in-law, who I’m actually meeting for the first time… gulp!
It’s rainy in Philadelphia today. What perfect weather for staying indoors and doing household chores :)
